The Fischerstube restaurant is known for its home-style cooking.

In addition to traditional dishes such as cordon bleu, veal Wienerschnitzel and the Ueli pretzel burger, you will also find more unusual compositions, such as fried eggplant with Ueli dark beer cream or corn-fed poulard with malt cream filling. Bon appetit!

In most cases, what we serve on our plates is grown in the Basel area. Or was produced in our region. We buy the meat from Jenzer in Arlesheim, the bread from Beschle, the cheese from Wirth’s Huus and the fruit and vegetables from Marksteiner. Everything is fresh, always homemade and processed in the most environmentally friendly way possible. That also explains why it always tastes a bit like home here.

Or two. Or several. Because we have plenty of choice. The craft beers from our own brewery range from our classic, the Ueli Reverenz, to new creations such as the Old School Hops or seasonal specialties such as the Laggs Spezial and the Winterbogg. Where possible, we also source our wines and spirits from regional producers, but sometimes we also reach out to northern Italy – so when it comes to quality, you’re sure to get your money’s worth.
